Privacy Policy

Ingatik helps you study and remember, and the recordings, notes, and progress you create along the way are yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to get it removed.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your email, display name, and handle when you create an account.
• Study data: your sessions, streaks, XP, subject tags, voice-note recordings, and the AI-generated summaries and checklists made from them.
• Usage data: anonymized product analytics (PostHog, Google Analytics) and crash reports (Sentry) so we can fix bugs and improve the app.
• Purchase data: subscription status via RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play. We never see your card details.
• Advertising data: on the free plan only, Google AdMob may collect device and app identifiers (including your device’s advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data in order to show and measure ads. See section 4.

2. How we use information

• To run the core loop: timers, recaps, summaries, leaderboards, and streaks
• To process your voice notes into summaries and next-task checklists
• To process subscriptions and keep your Pro entitlements in sync
• To understand product usage and improve the app
• To show ads to free users, and to keep ads out of paid plans
• To respond to support requests

Voice recordings are processed to generate your summary and are not used to train AI models or shared with other Whizzes. Leaderboards only show your display name, handle, hours, XP, and streak.

3. Third parties

We rely on Supabase (data storage & auth), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Google AdMob (advertising), PostHog and Google Analytics (analytics), and Sentry (crash reporting). Each processes only the data needed for its job.

4. Advertising

Ingatik shows occasional ads to users on the free plan. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Pro and Max subscribers see no ads at all.

AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID and similar identifiers to select ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure performance. You can reset or delete that identifier at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads; on iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). On iOS we ask your permission before any tracking across other companies’ apps takes place, and declining costs you nothing — every feature keeps working.

We never share your voice recordings, transcripts, summaries, notes, or study content with advertisers, and we never sell your personal data. For details on how Google handles this data, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from our account deletion page; deletion is permanent and completes within 30 days.
